Challenge§ 01

What was actually broken.

5.11 Tactical's Always Be Ready platform needed a physical object that proved the idea instead of describing it — something that would hold a crowd at a trade show and give the campaign a year of content.

  • / 01

Always Be Ready is a promise about capability, and promises get tested in person.

  • / 02

Trade-show floors reward objects, not slogans.

  • / 03

The build had to read as authentically tactical to an audience that lives it professionally.

What I did§ 02

The approach, step by step.

/ 01

Turn the platform into an object

Designed the build so every choice on the truck laddered back to the Always Be Ready idea.

/ 02

Build it with the brand, not for it

Developed with Doug Nagy and the 5.11 team so the details held up to a professional audience.

/ 03

Plan for content life

Treated the vehicle as an ongoing campaign asset rather than a single-show display.

Outcome§ 03
